POINTING SOULS TO CHRIST

Curriculum with Everything You Need!

The folks at Compass Bible Class curriculum are working hard to provide biblically accurate and motivating Bible class curriculum as well as updated resources for the Lord's Body.

Compass provides a fresh approach to Bible class that is relevant for the 21st century, while staying true to the timeless truth of God's Word. Everything, from the planning to writing, editing, photography, artwork, graphic design, and development of digital assets is carried out by a dedicated team of Christian volunteers.

Volunteer

The development of Compass is overseen by the elders of the Granbury St. Church of Christ in Cleburne, Texas.  It is planned and organized by Justin and Leah Hopkins. They as well as many volunteers comes together to write, edit, and format the curriculum and resources.  All involved are faithful members of the Lord's Church that began in the first century.

We have a common goal of getting biblically sound material and resources into the hands of congregations. Please contact us by phone or email if you are interested in helping out with this effort. Also, please keep this project in your daily prayers.

Teacher's Workshops

The Teachers Workshop offered by Justin Hopkins goes beyond teaching about Compass. It starts with learning how to study the Bible more effectively, and choosing the right curriculum for your congregation. Some of the other topics include:

  • Using technology effectively in the classroom.
  • Understanding developmental readiness so you can better reach all the ages.
  • Bringing the bible class application home
  • Moving toward evangelism (yes, children can reach souls too!)
  • ...and much more!

About Us

Justin and Leah Hopkins are both graduates of the Southwest School of Bible Studies in Austin, Texas.  Justin further received his Bachelors of Science in Human Development and his Graduate degree in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Christian Education.  Working with the skills he has obtained from his education as well as hands on experience obtained from local work, he along with his wife began developing a biblically sound, user friendly Bible class curriculum that would help teachers grow in their abilities and put students in the Word of God.

They along with their three sons reside in Cleburne, Texas and work with the Granbury Street Church of Christ as well as the Itasca Church of Christ.

Testimonials

The Hopkins, as well as others involved in producing these lessons, have proven themselves to be sound, faithful brethren who clearly love the Lord. This material will prove to be a powerful asset in teaching children, reaching those not yet members of the body and strengthening the faith of brethren for years to come.

We found Compass to be well put together, with sound teaching, direct application of the lessons and outstanding illustrations. It has plenty of directions to help new teachers prepare for the class but is also easy enough for experienced teachers to make it their own.
